Sarkkiranta Sports Centre

Sarkkiranta Sports Centre is located along the Kempeleentie road about 2 km from the centre of Kempele in the direction of Oulunsalo. Sarkkiranta is the home base for Kempeleen Kiri super-basketball matches and Ajax Sarkkiranta football matches and a dynamic sports and sports centre. In addition to a baseball stadium and a full-size rubber football pitch, the area includes a skate park, a traffic park, a play park, two beach volleyball courts, a pebble ash pitch, a running track, an athletics area, three tennis courts and a mountain bike track. In winter, the valley sports centre is surrounded by floodlit ski trails, which are popular jogging routes during the thaw.
